iPad mini is here

The iPad mini is here

Back in 2010, people wondered why we would need an iPad, while others focused on what it couldn't do. We now recognize that the iPad has made a significant impact in people's daily lives.

Even now that iPad mini is available today, you may be wondering, what can this thing do that we can't do with an iPhone or iPad?  If the iPad's revolutionary two-year history is an indicator of things to come, I imagine the answer will be a resounding, "a whole lot!" Apple has long focused on education, and we know the iPad has undoubtedly changed the learning experience both within the classroom and without. Therefore, it is safe to predict that the iPad mini will allow learning to flourish in yet to be discovered countless ways.

So I challenge us to explore how the iPad mini could enhance our iPad Initiative experience at ARC. Given all the fabulous plans in place for using iPads this year, I like to suggest we keep these questions on the table(t): (1) How could we improve what we are already doing with iPads at ARC, and (2) How could the iPad mini be part of this?

However cliché, let's remember to keep thinking different.
